Thanks to international alliances, EXPOMAFE has gained the support from some of the most important industry associations from Europe and the USA, such as AMT (The Association For Manufacturing Technology, USA), VDI (The Association of German Engineers) and VDW (German Machine-Tool Builder's Association).

In addition, EXPOMAFE is supported by APEX (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) and international chambers of commerce, such as the Mercosul Chamber, Brazil-German Chamber, among others.

This international focus creates tremendous value for the Brazilian and Latin America buyers that will visit the exhibition and increases the relevance of the exhibition in their decision-making process with regard to their strategic manufacturing investments.

ABIMAQ — Brazilian Machinery Manufacturers Association represents about 7.800 companies of the most varied segments of machines capital goods industry, whose activities has a direct impact on other national production sectors and is nationally structured with head office in São Paulo, nine regional representations and a Political Office in Brasilia.

More than a institutional representation of the sector, ABIMAQ has a professional management and its activities is directed in the generation of commercial opportunities for its members, undertaking liaison with political and economic entities, stimulating business and international cooperation and contributing to improving performance regarding technology, qualification of human resources and management.

Informa Exhibitions believes that events are knowledge and relationship platforms, wich help to further the Brazilian economy. The company is a branch of Informa Group, the biggest organiser of events, conferences and training in the world, with shares negotiated in the London Stock Exchange. Among events undertaken by Informa Exhibitions in Brazil are: Agrishow, Fispal Tecnologia, Fispal Food Service, ForMóbile, FutureCom, ABF Franchising Expo, Serigrafia Sign and FEIMEC in a total of 24 sectorial exhibitions.

Over the last four years, the company invested about R$400 (US$ 120) million in Brazil in the acquisition of events and mark/brand names, which let to strategic decision to alter the company's name in Brazil from BTS Informa to Informa Exhibitions.
